Deep air diving with staged decompression to 55 metres, building advanced rescue and self-rescue skills.

This deep air diving course trains divers to safely and confidently use air for dives that require staged decompression to a maximum depth of 55 metres. During the course you apply nitrox and oxygen mixtures while performing decompression.

The training covers proper techniques, equipment requirements and the hazards of deep air diving, and you gain advanced technical skills including rescue and self-rescue techniques using four tanks. Overall, this course provides an advanced-level technical diver certification that prepares you to manage complex deep dives safely and effectively.

Prerequisites

  • TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and TDI Decompression Procedures Diver
  • Proof of 100 logged dives, 25 of which are deeper than 30 metres
