The JJ-CCR Rebreather

A closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) is advanced breathing apparatus designed for technical diving. Instead of wasting exhaled gas, the CCR absorbs carbon dioxide from each breath, recycles the unused oxygen and inert gases, and adds fresh oxygen to replace what your body metabolises. This differs from open-circuit scuba, where exhaled gas escapes directly into the environment. As a result, CCR diving maximises gas efficiency, extends dive times and creates a safer, more controlled underwater experience.

The JJ-CCR design philosophy

Originally developed by professional wreck divers in the Baltic Sea, the JJ-CCR was designed to perform in harsh, cold and challenging environments.
