TDI Sidemount Diver
Learn to dive streamlined sidemounted cylinders, the configuration favoured by cave and wreck divers.
The TDI Sidemount course is one of the most popular technical diving courses. It teaches certified divers how to safely use sidemounted primary cylinders as an alternative to the traditional back-mounted configuration, and can be combined with other TDI courses such as Decompression Procedures, Extended Range, Trimix, Advanced Trimix and Advanced Wreck.
Sidemount diving has grown in popularity among both recreational and technical divers. Many cave and wreck divers prefer the set-up because it is streamlined, versatile and lets them navigate restrictions that would otherwise be impossible to pass through.
